Lowering my initial rating after reflecting on the experience. My visit to Koht started off poorly when the technician rushed through my soft gel removal with a mechanical drill instead of soaking them, leaving my nails bumpy, uneven, and physically damaged. When questioned, the technician claimed that soaking in acetone too long 'thins the nails.' This is untrue and felt like a dishonest excuse to cover up cutting corners and using a damaging shortcut.

​I returned after work, and management was accommodating, while a second technician took the time to properly soak the remaining gel. However, the new application was still a bit messy around the edges. While I appreciate management's quick effort to fix the issue, the combination of damaged nails and misinformation makes it hard to trust this salon.

Hands-down, one of the best luxury nail salons in all of Westchester! The attention to detail and level of service are truly unmatched. The nail artists are incredibly talented and take the time to give you exactly what you want.

If you’re looking for a more advanced design, I highly recommend asking the manager which technician is best for the look you have in mind. She’s always honest and will make sure you’re matched with the right artist—something I really appreciate.

The salon is beautiful, extremely clean, and has an amazing selection of colors. They also offer permanent makeup for eyebrows.
